We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scientist (Level II) in the field of food science and related tech areas to join the team based in Great Boston Area (Framingham, MA).

Job Description and Responsibilities

This role will primarily support projects focused on food tech, agriculture, biology, and microbiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth literature reviews, analyzing market data, and summarizing findings to support research and business initiatives.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive literature reviews in the areas of food science, agriculture, biology, microbiology, and related disciplines. Analyzing scientific publications, patents, and technical reports to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges

In this role, you will collaborate with experts from universities, investors, startups, CROs, leading industrial companies, and associations to manage multiple projects in the animal and human health sectors. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential.
• Master’s degree in food science, Food Microbiology, Food Engineering, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Food Processing and Preservation, Food Packaging, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to independently work on projects and provide project updates in groups.
• A proven track record of innovative, collaborative research is essential, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications.
• Leadership and self-learning skills ability to multi-task by supporting multiple projects
• Ability to review literature and competitive landscape to proactively propose and initiate projects. 
• Demonstrated expertise and experience in the effective utilization of AI tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and oral/written communication.
• Ability to adapt to flexible working hours due to the nature of working across multiple countries and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in vivo and/or in vitro experiments, biology assay development, in-depth experience in immunoassays, including but not limited to: protein engineering, immunoassay, fluorescent assays, label-free assays, CRISPR, NGS, qPCR, LAM-PCR, LAMP, MLPA, SNP array, microarray, gene expression array, bioinformatics, computational biology, and high throughput screening.
